What
does a man with no social life do with is spare time? Draw
web comics,
that's what. Born in a time of power
ballads, big hair, and sixteen color arcade games (collectively known
as the 80's, also collectively suppressed in memory by those who
remember it), Matt Larson was destined to become something more than a
mere man; he was destined for greatness. Barely escaping the
public
school system in the year 1999, Matt then tackled college.
Unfortunately for
him,
college is a big burly football player that cannot be tackled by sheer
nerd force alone. After bumming around, Matt discovered
something that
would hopefully change his destiny: web comics. Heard
uttering, "Hey,
I could do that!" by the voices in his head, he decided that this was
his calling, after procrastinating for about a year and a
half before
actually doing anything about it, that is. Constantly being
thrown
forward in time by unknown forces, like some kind of geeky Marty McFly,
only without the cool hoverboard, he
spends his time failing to convince others
that he has been chosen to conquer the world through drawing.
Currently on Phase 0.05 of his world domination plot,
the
acquisition of a pen and a sheet of paper (to actually plan his...
plan), he passes his free time being generally lazy and unproductive.
In the meantime, Matt enjoys collecting figures of girls from
various
games and anime, while simultaniously trying to collect a real girl.
Unfortunately for him, real girls can't be ordered on eBay.
